Thank you so much to everyone who came out and braved the rain to met our authors; Dina Santorelli, Nicola Harrison and Greg Inkpen.   It was a fun and informative night and we all aspire to pen the great American novel now!  Special thanks to Stephanie Larkin from Red Penguin Books for being our moderator

author talk

President Barbara Gannon during National Friends of the Library week greets over 100 library patrons telling them about our programs, the upcoming author night and giving out raffle tickets.  Congratulations to the winner and special thanks to all those who stopped by.

“Broph:  On and Off the Ice with John Brophy, One of Hockey’s Most Colorful Characters” by Greg Inkpen

Brophy had the backs of each player on his hockey, baseball and rugby teams growing up in Nova Scotia. His attitude carried over as a rough and tumble professional hockey player.  His heart ached at times due to several childhood tragedies

“Montauk” – a novel by Nicola Harrison

An epic and cinematic book by author Nicola Harrison that captures the extravagance of a summer by the sea on Long Island where a woman is torn between the life she chose and the life she desires.

“Baby Grand” (Baby Grand Triology, Book 1)  by Dina Santorelli

A compelling, fast moving thriller that tells the story of the infant daughter of New York's Governor who was kidnapped from her crib without a trace in Albany. Meanwhile, in New York City, a young woman is abducted from the streets. She is brought upstate where she is forced by her captor, Don Bailino, to care for the child.

The moderator will collectively ask the authors questions about their books and inspirations.  The audience will have a chance to meet the authors and purchase hand-signed books.
